THE DREAMY HAIRS

Every one of us dreams of Rapunzel-like hair however the realism of life won't allow us to live in our dream. Our day to life is running so fast that it left us with no time to look after our hair. Hair falls, dandruff, split end, and fizzy and dry hair have become part of our daily scenario. A good hair care routine demands good cleansing of the scalp and conditioner, and proper care of strands along with ends. Most importantly it needs sincerity and consistency in routine.

Here are some simple and very common tips regarding hair care that I would like to share with you guys:

THINGS TO CHECK DAILY:

BEFORE BED
1. Don't forget to wash your hair with water. It helps to clean to dust and dirt we go throughout the day. It will clean your scalp and promote sebum production which is absolutely necessary for healthy and moisturized hair.
2. Dry your hair gently with a microfiber towel as wet hair follicles are delicate. Leave a while and get dry.
3. Comb them well and make a loose braid. Avoid going to bed with open hairs as it increases breakage and makes them dry.
4. Most importantly use silk pillowcases and change them very like once or twice a week otherwise the dust trapped in them can ruin your entire hardship.
5. If are suffering from greater hair loss than applying hair growth serum on alternative days can be best thing you can do to intense hair growth.
MORNING
1. Comb your hair well and detangles them properly. You can choose to comb them with a wooden comb instead of using one made of plastic. Wooden comb like that of 'NEEM' has antibacterial properties that help fight dandruff and itchy scalp.
2. Put a good leave-on serum to seal your hair strands and most importantly ends.
3. Avoid using hair styling tools daily also whenever you are using them never forget to apply heat protection cream before they will help you to minimize the damage caused by them.
4. Also avoid those kinds of hairstyles in which you tighten your hair. It puts lots of stress on hair follicles and increases the chance of breakage a lot.
5. Instead of using an elastic hair band go for satin/silk scrunchies they reduce the unnecessary breakage of hair.
SHAMPOOING AND CONDITIONING THE HAIR

Ideally, the scalp needs shampooing twice a week. Howsoever, some of us make require more or less washing best way to know whether your hair needs shampoo or not is to test yourself, when your hair become greasy, and your scalp become itchy now it's time to have a shampoo.

PRECLEANSING ROUTINE

  • Make sure to apply hair oil or pre-shampoo serum before shampooing.
  • Choose hair oil or pre-shampoo serum wisely according to the needs of your hair, for example, hair with the problem of dandruff needs salicylic acid, and falling and weak hair needs care or peptides.
  • You can also prefer to exfoliate the scalp even before oiling them, it allows you to absorb the things properly.
  • A heat cap is perfect for hot oil treatments to seal strands, as well as doing deep conditioning masks. The heat will help open up the cuticle to allow deeper penetration into strands.
  • Avoid combing hair post-oil treatment just bound them loosely. If you have time, then a heat cap can be the best thing you can do for your hair. Use it for half an hour! then leave the oil hour for 1-3 hours or over the night before cleansing.
  • Once a week, comfortably on Sunday take out few moments to apply a pre-shampoo deep conditioning hair mask on the scalp. You can go for home remedies that work magically on hair or you can prefer packed ones with active ingredients which work superfast.
  • Just choose every product you apply on your scalp very wisely after investing a good amount of time in choosing the right products according to the needs of your hair.

  • If I would summarize the things first exfoliate, then apply oil or pre-shampoo serum. Go for heat treatment for best results. When you plan to apply a hair mask then first exfoliate, apply the mask, and simply go for shampoo. If you are using a traditional Indian hair mask like that of Heena then applying the oil after washing off the mask and before shampoo can boost the action of the mask.

CLEANSING ROUTINE

  • Double shampooing is most recommended by dermatologists. Prefer lukewarm water for shampoo as they gently open the hair follicles and help to remove oil along with dust and dirt.
  • Use scalp messaging brush, gently message scalp making small circles. Don't be hursh to your hairs.
  • After wash apply post shampoo mask or conditioner wait for 20-30 minutes or 3-5 minutes respectively. Rinse it with cold water it will leave your hair ultra smooth.

POST CLEANSING ROUTINE

  • After wash wrap your hair in microfiber towel and leave them to dry naturally. Avoid using bow dry until and unless it is very necessary.
  • Comb them and apply leave on conditioner.
In spite of all the cares and routines visiting dermatologist, revising the products that you use and following proper diet plan is absolutely necessary for good hair.
